Due to the devastation in Butte County following the Camp Fire, “Helping Teachers. Helping Students.” will also be collecting new classroom supplies the week of December 10th to support teachers and classrooms in Butte! Please donate new classroom supplies including dry erase markers, pocket folders, copy paper, glue sticks, post-its, highlighters, #2 pencils, tissue boxes and colored pencils to the school district office near you (districts located in Sacramento County and Gateway Community Charters district office only– LINK TO DOCUMENT). If you live in Folsom, Intel Corporation (Building FM7), Folsom City Hall, Library and Sports Complex, as well as Wal-Mart on Riley Street will be collecting donations. In Sacramento and Rancho Cordova, the City Hall will be a donation drop-off site as well.
WHO ARE WE?
We are a community-based effort involving school districts, nonprofits, cities, businesses and citizens to donate classroom supplies to benefit a large number of teachers in Sacramento. Classroom supplies run low mid-school year. Help us, help teachers!
